Principal

Welcome to the opening of what promises to be a wonderful school year! At this time of the year, there is great anticipation of what is to come.  I am excited because I get to continue my journey as principal at Northfield Elementary. I have been a teacher in the White County Public Schools System for 19 years.  I am proud to say I am a White County girl who believes in our school system! I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as your principal and to be a part of our community.  

Together, teachers, students, and parents make a strong Northfield family.  We appreciate your support as your child enters the classroom, learns, and grows through the year.  Let’s all commit to having a good school year by setting everyone up for success!

Throughout the year I look forward to meeting the new members of our community and connecting with returning community members.  I encourage families to get to know each other so that we can build new friendships and support each other as the need arises.

Northfield is blessed with a dedicated faculty and staff who have worked hard this summer preparing for the upcoming school year.  Thank you for entrusting your child with us. At Northfield, we have a common goal of excellence in education and desire to give our students the best education possible.  You are always welcome at Northfield. With saying this, please help us as we try to protect instruction time beginning at 8:00 a.m. I’m confident that together we will have an awesome year and that our students will excel.
